1. Health reasons: By far most important, respect yourself don't let food take your life. Risks can include heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and countless others.
2. Self-esteem: feel good about yourself and go get the girl or guy your after.
3. Do things: there are many things that overweight people cannot do. Loose weight and experience the great outdoors.

If you are in good physical shape it also improves your romantic / sex life. That should be enough incentive in itself!

I totally agree with Buddha...my weight has fluxed a lot lately due to stress and then weight watchers (a fabulous program!) and it is true, when I am in...er, compromising positions...being slimmer makes me feel so much better!
I want to add: Lose ur weight so u can still wear ur current outfit
By doing that, we can save some of our money hehe...

Discipline for me is the very top! It applies to everything.. If you have that attitude, then it would be easy for you to deal with all the stuff that come your way..
